FAQ

Questions people ask before signing up.

A clearer view of what ActaFeed monitors, how we prioritize it, and how you can stay informed.

Does ActaFeed ingest every published legislative document?

No. We use an internal importance-measurement system to focus on documents with meaningful public, economic, or regulatory impact. That means we skip low-signal records such as routine naming, registration, and other technical notices, while still bringing in a few hundred significant documents each week.

Do you have the history of every legislative document?

No. ActaFeed focuses on new documents published since the service began. When a new amendment, update, or related document connects to an older act, we ingest that earlier context too so the current record remains understandable.

What types of documents does ActaFeed ingest?

Our scheduled imports automatically track significant US and EU legislation, including bills, regulations, directives, decisions, proposals, executive orders, amendments, corrigenda, and parliamentary votes. We also manually add selected public-interest material such as audit reports, treaties, and government contracts when it provides useful legislative or public-policy context.

Can I share a document page with someone without a subscription?

Yes. Individual ActaFeed document pages are publicly available to anyone with the direct link.

Can I be notified about legislation affecting my interests?

Yes. You can create alerts for topics, industries, affected groups, countries, and keywords that matter to you. ActaFeed will notify you when a relevant document appears or when meaningful information changes.

Can I follow changes to a specific piece of legislation?

Yes. You can configure alerts for specific documents and receive notifications when their legislative state changes or when a new amendment or corrigendum is published.

How do you choose which audit reports to show?

We prioritize reputable public oversight sources, including the U.S. Government Accountability Office and the European Court of Auditors. We select reports that provide useful insight into public programmes, spending, and government operations.

Does ActaFeed have a political bias?

We try to limit bias as much as possible. Summaries are grounded in official source documents, and we use low-bias AI models together with caveats, source links, and separate importance signals so you can assess the information for yourself.
